New York, NY (Top40 Charts) September 30, 2014, New York, NY: Producer/DJ/Rapper OZWALD BOZWALD has announced the release date for his new EP, "Transform," January 27th 2015. Hot off the success of his summer track "I'm Feelin' Bueno," the Harlem NYC-based artist is hard at work putting the final touches on his first EP comprised entirely of EDM tracks.
With his roots in hip-hop music production, EDM is a recent undertaking for BOZWALD. Over the last 15 years, he has become an established industry producer, penning songs for top brands including Coca-Cola, Bacardi, Heineken and TV shows such as Workaholics, Fashion Star, Rob and Big, and ESPN College Football. "Transform" marks a turning point in BOZWALDS music, as well as his personal life.
BOZWALD says, "I decided to go with 'Transform' because everything in my life is changing, so the title really fits." In recent years, BOZWALD went through a spiritual transformation and got baptized, a dietary transformation and became vegan, and a musical transformation focusing his efforts on dance music instead of hip-hop.
Part of BOZWALD's transformation was sparked after seeing the popular documentary "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead" on Netflix. Inspired by the film, he decided to go on a 10 day juice cleanse. After 10 days of only consuming juiced fruits and vegetables, BOZWALD says he felt great and his health improved dramatically. So much so, that he decided to continue with a vegan diet. Within one month, he lost 50 pounds and has kept it off.
His most recent track, "I'm Feelin' Bueno," uniquely promotes the health benefits of juicing and is the first track off "Transform." The song's YouTube video has garnered lots of attention (nearly 80,000 views). Adam Bernard of Arena.com says, "…'I'm Feelin' Bueno' has opened my eyes to an entirely new world…"
