Cincinnati, OH (Top40 Charts/ Sun Pedal Recordings) The hook-heavy rock band Buffalo Killers officially announced that the release date of their new record Fireball of Sulk will be 11/24. The group gave their fans an "early bird" special last week, notifying each one by email that the record was available for pre-order. Today, they partner with Relix.com for the official announcement and to premiere the music video for their song "Weird One."

"'Fireball of Sulk' was recorded during the non-ending winter of 2013/14 in Northern Ohio," says vocalist/bassist Zach Gabbard. "We missed the first day due to an ice storm. Andy and I had written and recorded demos for the boys and listened to them on the way to the studio. It was the first exposure for Joey and Sven. We locked ourselves in the studio for 3 days to rehearse and record and filmed the entire experience."

Gabbard adds "'Weird one' comes from those lost, pre-drug, days when all you wanted to do was get away from your parents, dye your hair and drive around with your friends."

Fireball of Sulk was made at Crushtone Studios with platinum producer Jim Wirt (Fiona Apple, Incubus), where the band worked on their previous record Heavy Reverie.

Upcoming Shows:
11/22 @ The Stone Fox - Nashville, TN
11/26 @ Northside Tavern - Cincinnati, OH
11/28 @ Canal Street Tavern - Dayton, OH
12/12 @ Skully's - Columbus, OH
12/13 @ Musica - Akron, OH

About Buffalo Killers:
"One of the best fucking rock 'n' roll bands in the world" - Chris Robinson
"Heavy on the heavy and with plenty of hooks" - High Times

Buffalo Killers hailing from OHIO deliver hook heavy homegrown rock n roll. Lead by songwriting brothers Zachary and Andrew Gabbard, the band has drawn the attention of the likes of Chris Robinson, who invited them to open a string of dates for The Black Crowes and Dan Auerbach, who produced their sophomore effort "Let It Ride," to name a few.

Hot on the tail of a prolific three years of released albums (the critically acclaimed 3 (2011), Dig. Sow. Love. Grow. (2012) and Ohio Grass (2013)), the band signed with Sun Pedal Recordings. They then entered Crushtone Studios with platinum producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple) to record Heavy Reverie before making an appearance on Last Call with Carson Daly. They returned to Crushtone for their new record Fireball of Sulk, a six-song offering that will be released on 11/24.
