New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Thanks to a New Jersey Piano Retail Company, 10 young musicians just got a shot at making their jazz dreams come true. Forte Piano Music Company of Paramus, NJ is proudly sponsoring the second-annual Made in New York Jazz Competition in 2014. Displaying a commitment to future generations of musicians, Forte Piano will cover the entrance fees to the competition for 10 aspiring jazz artists.

Forte Piano decided to get involved with the Made in New York Jazz competition after witnessing the success of the competition in its first year. The company was amazed by the amount of talent registered to participate from all over the planet in the name of jazz. What better way to get involved than by directly supporting the participants vying to make a name for themselves? Sponsoring these young musicians and giving them a moment in the spotlight is right inline with Forte Piano's mission of helping music lovers and musicians to realize their goals.

"Jazz is a premier American Art form. Jazz is important and very special for our company and me personally. We are proud to support this unique art form and we at Forte Piano hope that other organizations, including companies not necessary related to music will do the same and help young musicians to reach their goal!" says President of Forte Piano Company, Vladimir Zaslavsky.

"Because of the economical recession a lot of music programs are being cut across the world, and as a result would-be musicians get left on the sidelines. The same goes for young people with musical talent around the world. Thanks to "Forte Piano" who support contests like the Made in New York Jazz Competition, there are still opportunities for artists to create and perform for jazz-loving audiences everywhere" says Made In New York Jazz Competition founder Misha Brovkin.

Contest sponsors of Made In New York Jazz Competition are able to reach large audiences of international jazz artists and fans online. The contest tallied over 1.5 million video loads. Contest viewers navigate to the site to watch videos of the performances submitted by participants from across the globe. What's more, there's a gala concert at the end of the contest, and there are sponsorship options for businesses who'd like their brand displayed in the concert hall. On May 2014, the Jazz Gala in New York concert sold full house, about 1,000 jazz fans in attendance in famous Tribeca Performing Art Center.

About the Made in New York Jazz Competition
In its first year, the Made in New York Jazz brought musicians throughout the world together through the unique online competition. Entrants in six categories were judged by voters who registered through the contest's website, as well as a committee of world-renowned jazz musicians and panel of legendary judges! The judges in 2014 are: Lenny White, Joe Lovano and Randy Brecker.
