Balkstar To Perform Live At Warper Party

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In support of his sophomore release, "Bounce It Out", Balkstar will perform live for the first time in the US on Tuesday 16 September 2014 at the in New York City's Lower East Side.

Balkstar is a producer influenced by Dance Music, Bass Music, Dub Music & Electro Beats. He was raised in Aotearoa in New Zealand and educated at Dubspot in New York City.

Balkstar's debut album "Passive Aggressive" was signed to US label T Dance Digital and released in September 2012. The release spawned two maxi-single releases, title track "Passive Aggressive - The Mixes" and "What You Hold Today - The Mixes".

Balkstar's sophomore effort "Bounce It Out" was released by T Dance Digital 3 June 2014. The lead single from that release the Moombahton powerhouse track, "The Zombie Dance" hit online retailers on Halloween Day, 31 October 2013.

The Warper Party is New York City's largest electronic music showcase. It is a monthly celebration of both art and music made by digital technology. Balkstar's 30 minute set is a good match for The Warper Party as it will not be your typical DJ set. Balkstar, more electronic musician than DJ, will use Ableton and play his music live.
