New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Los Angeles musician,
Karen Dezelle, returns to The Hotel Café on Friday,
September 12th, 2014 to celebrate the release of her new EP, "Bloom, Unfold, Wither." She will be joined by guitarist Tom Lehr, a veteran of the LA music scene who has played with The Resistors, Fela Johnson and The Johnsons during the LA club scene's heyday.
After the success of her 2013 album, "Lost and Found," Dezelle set to work crafting beautifully emotional songs that would make up her next project. Once again collaborating with her steadfast creative partner John Adair, who produced and played multiple instruments on the new EP, the two of them have created inspiring lyrical stories that sit atop cohesive and lush instrumentation. Each track throughout the album dives deep into a myriad of emotions, taking the listener on an intense emotional journey that they won't soon forget. No stranger to performing,
Karen has played in venues across Los Angeles like the House of Blues, as well as performed at festivals across the country, garnering a dedicated following. There's no doubt that they'll be out to celebrate the release of her newest endeavor.
Karen's soft vocals and engaging personality build a relaxing safe house within each venue that she performs in. She easily transports her audience to the heart of her songs, weaving a gentle story through pointed lyrics and slow building acoustic arrangements, capturing the intensity of each dramatic twist and happy moment. With music that mixes positivity with uncertainty, she understands the core of the human disposition in a way that elevates her songwriting, allowing her talents to unfold in front of each and every listener. When
Karen sings, it's impossible not to listen. Be sure to catch her when she takes the stage to celebrate her brand new EP, "Bloom, Unfold, Wither" at The Hotel Café on
