Konquistador Announce Plans For 2015

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Canadian based band Konquistador has announced that they plan to begin production on their latest project in 2015. The band has delighted fans with their dedication to producing music, which defies genre specification through combinations of cross-cultural and artistic influences.

Konquistador was formed in Melbourne in 2005 led by Canadian producers E.R. Graham, Reginald Tiessen and A. Marz and is made up of a variety of collaborations from various artists, producers and engineers. The band describes their sound as a culmination of found sounds from all over the world, focusing on creating a multicultural musical dialogue within their output.

Konquistador plan to begin work on their "multi-arts trance opera" entitled Fantasy Is Not Above Us in 2015. The band describes the project as an exploration of the various ways in which concepts such as melancholy, fantasy and storytelling combine and transcend culture and belief systems. The Opera will combine this aspect of story telling with the band's iconic world and industrial electronic sound and musical influences.
