Atlanta, GA (Top40 Charts/ Revival Recordings) Five-piece pop-rock band The Funeral Portrait has signed to North Carolina record label Revival Recordings (owned by Shawn Milke of Alesana). The group will be making their label debut by way of For The Dearly Departed, a six song EP produced by Milke and engineered/mixed by Neil Engle at Adelaide Recording Studios in Raleigh.
"We have never been more excited and proud about anything in our lives as we are about
joining the Revival family!" says vocalist Lee Jennings. "They have truly made us feel like we have found a perfect home with them."
For The Dearly Departed will be released on 9/23, during which time the band will be on the "Chaos Is A Ladder" tour. Other acts on the bill include Alesana, Megosh, and The Things They Carried. Full dates and links to purchase tickets are listed below.

ABOUT THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT
The Funeral Portrait is a five-piece pop-rock outfit hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Consisting of vocalist Lee Jennings, guitarist/vocalist Juergie Landstrom, guitars AJ Pekarek, bassist Chris King, and drummer Stephen Danzey, the band blends elements of rock and roll, heavy metal, and theatre all under a blanket of pop sensibility as they paint their stories of love, loss, anger, and grief onto a canvas of skillfully crafted songs.
