OAKDALE, MN (www.ryandanielandthespiritofdavid.com) - Ryan Daniel and the Spirit of David, a band with heavy soca and reggae influences, will release a debut CD "Life in General" on November 25th, 2004. This album is as exciting and diverse as the show these guys put on, featuring hit singles like "Return of the King" and "One Time". "Their sound is polished, the production thoroughly modern and bold, and the cross-pollination of styles so fun, it almost makes this as irresistible as dc Talk and Souljahz when they both first hit the scene," music critics Russ Breimeier and LaTonya Taylor write.

Ryan Daniel, the lead singer and leader of the band, grew up in the Caribbean island of Trinidad and he is the eldest from a family of four boys. Shortly after forming his current band Ryan Daniel and the Spirit of David, he learned there was no hiding from his times of yore. "In the beginning our style was very contemporary, but my hardcore reggae past caught up with me. Our style and sound makes you look, it's honest, it leaves you inspired or offended. My prayer is that we would use every opportunity to motivate and encourage people to live in a pure fanatical way that allows them the strength needed to change their world or personal circumstance," Ryan Daniel explains.

Critics around the US have welcomed Ryan's talent with raves. "Ryan Daniel has combined the best of two musical genres – reggae and hip-hop – and added a positive message. In the process, he has created something very special that defies categorization," Music-Tech.net writes.
Ryan Daniel and the Spirit of David made it to the exclusive list of semi-finals for the Independent Music World Series, they also took first place in the rock category at Club 3 Degrees in Minneapolis Minnesota. Club 3 Degrees is presently known as one of if not the largest club in the country, recently featured in Rolling Stone magazine. "Maybe one day we'll catch up with what these guys are trying to do," Savannah Street writes.

"Life in General" will be available from Nov.25th 04 at CDBaby.com, NWbooks.com Listen to: Lifenet.fm, WEPRfm.com, ensoundentertainment.com
