Vajra Kicks off Summer Tour in New Paltz, NY This Saturday, July 19th

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Vajra) NYC based progressive rock ensemble, Vajra, recently announced their Summer, 2014 tour dates. The band will perform a series of shows and festivals starting in New Paltz, NY on July 19 and ending at the Evolvefest on Labor Day Weekend. The listing of dates and locations is below.

Vajra just played a set of dates this Spring dubbed "The Trilogy Shows", in which, they explored past and future. "I've been thinking a lot about the clash between the native cultures and traditions and modern times. I'm interested in the traditional thread that runs through modern culture. So, I attempted to explore this aurally through our interludes and visually with our costumes" states band founder, Annamaria Pinna.

Vajra's continued momentum after the release of their debut album 'Pleroma', continues to spiral out to new fans who are clamoring for more of their infectious progressive rock and Eastern Indian fusion. The band currently is working on new material and is planning a Fall 2014 release.
