Alt-Rock/ Electro Band, Western Education Launches New Album "Let Your Secrets Out"
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ LaFamos Press) Western Education's first full-length album, Let Your Secrets Out, has finally debuted along with their new single, "Peace". The Massachusetts musicians have been tirelessly working in the studio to perfectly craft their latest set of songs. After much hard work evolving their sound and growing as a band, they are excited to show the world what they've got. Let Your Secrets Out is now available on iTunes.

Western Education brings a modern indie-alt, dance sound that resembles popular artists such as The Killers and Muse. Each member brings a different instrumental talent, which allows for them to come together to create dynamic and captivating arrangements, which are complimented by savvy and meaningful lyrics. The album's lead single "Peace", penned by lead vocalist Greg Alexandropolus, is about a haunting experience. "It's about me accidentally hitting someone with a car, and praying I didn't kill them. It wasn't my fault, and the person ended up being okay, but that whole night, I was like 'what have I done'", Greg says. While it's personal, the broader message is one that anyone can relate to, "Sometimes bad things happen that you didn't intend on, or that were not your fault, but you are forced to live and deal with it." Self-declared as Western Education's saddest song, "Peace" somehow manages to emulate the alternative dance vibe the band is known for. Although the lyrics hold a serious tone, the instrumental arrangement is fast paced and upbeat. All songs on the album were written by Western Education and were mastered by bass player, Will Hunt. The album was recorded and produced at Kenny Studios located in Billerica, MA with the exception of "Rivals", which was done with Grammy nominated producer, Drew Hooke at The Workshop located in Tyngsboro, MA. A music video for "Rivals" was released earlier this year and can be seen on YouTube.

Western Education was formed on the UMass Lowell college campus. Greg spread flyers throughout the campus in search of like-minded artists, and just a few years later the band was established. Each member brings a unique style and sound that makes Western Education who they are. The band consists of Greg Alexandropolus on lead vocals and keyboard, Georgio Broufas on guitar and backing vocals, Will Hunt on bass and production and Mark Ragusa on drums, percussion, and backing vocals. The band released two EPs in 2012. The first, self-titled Western Education debuted in March and the second, The Weekend Sessions was released in December. Since then, the group has been focused on creating their full-length album and released the pre-album single "Rivals" in 2013, which is included on Let Your Secrets Out. Locally, they've been recognized by the Boston Phoenix as part of their Top 13 Best New Bands of 2013.

With two EPs under their belt and a tremendous amount of hard work, the release of Let Your Secrets Out is significant for Western Education. They are excited to see what is in store for them hoping many more releases will follow. Be sure to check out their single "Peace" and the rest of the album on iTunes.
