New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ MoPromo Mgmt Co) John Otway has carved a successful 40 year career as Rock n Roll's Greatest Failure. His path has been strewn with appalling decisions and dreadful financial deals yet he has still managed to survive and, against all odds, prosper.
The lows have certainly been low but the highs have been extraordinary.
The highly acclaimed Rock and Roll's Greatest Failure: Otway The Movie charts the rise and fall, and rise again, of this unlikely star. It has gained exemplary reviews across the board and has already played to packed houses in over 50 UK cinemas. It made No 2 in the Guardian Readers' Poll Best Movies of 2013, second only to Gravity.

Rock and Roll's Greatest Failure: Otway The Movie premiered at London's Leicester
Square Odeon in 2012 before being screened at Cannes last year and then at the Glastonbury Festival. It includes much previously unseen footage as well as interviews with music industry experts and key fans who have supported the maverick performer on his quest for world domination.
The movie is in turns funny, appalling, good humoured and human. Directed by Steve Barker, a veteran of documentary making and news footage, it is both hugely entertaining and, remarkably, unwittingly educational.
Rock and Roll's Greatest Failure: Otway The Movie is a benchmark in how NOT to do it - and how to do it astoundingly well.
"...this documentary colonizes the ups and downs of never-say-die musician
John Otway is fantastically engaging, the very definition of feelgood film-making." The Guardian.
"A wonderful documentary full of broken promises, crazy ideas, raucous live performances and the man at the center of it all, John Otway, makes it difficult to tell if he is barking mad or a musical genius. Either way, this documentary shouldn't be missed." by Screenjabber.
"The Clown
Prince of Rock and Roll" by The Telegraph.
