BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - Premier songwriter and prolific Passion worshipper Chris Tomlin's third album, ARRIVING, debuted in the head-turning No 39 slot on this week's Billboard Top 200, on par with new entries from music legends Elvis Costello and Willie Nelson. Moving 22,349 copies, Tomlin quadrupled his previous first-week sales.

Known by millions for writing new worship classics including 'Forever,' 'The Wonderful Cross,' and 'Famous One,' Tomlin released ARRIVING last week amidst widespread critical acclaim.

Amazon.com states, 'When all is said and done, this release should solidify (Tomlin's) standing as one of the premier songwriters in the modern church's praise-and-worship movement.'

Relevant Magazine says, 'Tomlin's third album doesn't flirt with spiritual superficiality or hint at lackadaisical songwriting, but simply comes across as a worship album that was created for just that purpose.'

Indeed, worship is the point of ARRIVING, as evidenced by the soaring performance of the disc's first single, 'Indescribable,' written by Laura Story, and Tomlin's biggest hit to date.

CCM Magazine believes, 'It is the kind of song with the anthemic appeal of Darlene Zschech's 'Shout to the Lord' or Tim Hughes' 'Here I Am to Worship.' In other words, expect to hear it for some time to come.'

ChristianityToday.com agrees, calling 'Indescribable,' 'a terrific anthem about God's vast power and glory that ranks with 'God of Wonders' and 'Famous One.''

Steven Curtis Chapman, who joins Tomlin on ARRIVING to sing 'Unfailing Love' and has invited him to be a special guest on his upcoming All Things New Tour, says, 'There have only been a few occasions when I'm captivated by a song on first listen. I've been a fan of Chris Tomlin for a long time but 'Indescribable' stopped me in my tracks the first time I heard it. I really believe there's something really special about this song and this album.'

Chris Tomlin's ARRIVING, featuring 'Indescribable,' 'Great Is Our God,' 'Unfailing Love,' and 'Holy Is The Lord,' is in stores now. The All Things New Tour with Chapman, Tomlin, and Casting Crowns, begins October 21. For complete information, go to ChrisTomlin.com.
