Trey Songz is celebrating his sultry new single, "SmartPhones," with a one-of-a-kind mobile web app. The GRAMMY Award-nominated superstar unveiled the mobile app earlier today in a tweet to his 7.35 million Twitter followers (@TreySongz), with additional details then released exclusively through Mashable (https://on.mash.to/1jy2eSl). "SmartPhones" heralds Trey's hugely anticipated new album, "TRIGGA," which arrives everywhere on July 1st.
The "SmartPhones" mobile web app experience allows users to "break into" Trey's very own smart phone, where they can access a broad range of "apps." Fans can check out such exclusive extras as personal photos, texts, and cell phone videos, save their info to Trey's contact list, and best of all, the world premiere of the new "SmartPhones" companion video. At the time of the launch, the clip was only viewable after unlocking the mobile app with the "TRIGGA" release date - 7114.

As if that weren't enough, the "SmartPhones" mobile web app includes Shazam and Beats Music, links to Trey's official web store (store.treysongz.com), Google Play, and the iTunes Store, as well as updates from Trey's official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds and access to his innovative fan club app, The
Angel Network (TAN). The mobile web app was built by Come Together Create and FortyAU.
"SmartPhones" is shaping up as another slow jam smash for Songz, with Complex hailing it as "a wonderful track that delivers just enough innocence behind (Trey's) words as he sings about the difficulties of dealing with a relationship over a (smart phone)."
