NEW YORK (Ziff Davis Media Inc/ www.ziffdavis.com/ www.digitallife.com) - Multi-platinum recording artist Ludacris will headline a lineup together with Shawna and some of Def Jam's hottest recording artists at Ziff Davis Media's new consumer electronics and digital technology show, DigitalLife.

DigitalLife will be held October 14-17, 2004 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Ludacris along with Shawnna, N.O.R.E, Cam'ron and Joe Budden will be on-hand to greet thousands of fans on October 16, 2004 and Ludacris and Shawnna may also perform their latest single.

Ludacris, along with other popular Def Jam recording artists, are featured on Electronic Arts new videogame, "Def Jam Fight for NY." Gamers will have a chance to see their favorite artists in action as they play the explosive new videogame, which features more than 40 well-known music personalities. This videogame and many others will be on display in DigitalLife's gaming pavilion, produced by GameOn NY. The gaming pavilion will allow attendees to try new and previously unreleased videogame products, engage in exciting cash and prize-based tournaments, and enjoy live music and celebrity appearances.
"At DigitalLife, we're excited to be putting consumers in the middle of the action with amazing exhibits and interactive events such as the chance to go head-to-head against top music artists in gaming competitions," said Jim Hasl, vice president of strategy and development, Ziff Davis Media. "Our goal is to put the entire digital entertainment revolution under one roof - from interactive gaming to the convergence of music and technology - allowing attendees to experience the full spectrum of products and services shaping today's digital lifestyle."

Ludacris, as one of the most well-known recording artists debuted at number one with the release of his third album "Chicken-N-Beer", which has been recognized as one of the most impressive rap records in years. He also has a new album "Red Light District" which is due to hit stores in mid-October. As the pivotal member behind Disturbing Tha Peace, Ludacris has come a long way since doing talent shows. With over seven million albums sold, Ludacris is one of the top-selling recording artists in the country.

Shawnna, a.k.a. Rashawnna Guy is a seasoned hip-hop vixen who takes control with her sexy, aggressive rhymes. Her verses are laced with themes ranging from happiness to life's difficulties and everything in between. The 26-year-old is taking the rap world by force as the first female artist from Ludacris' Disturbing Tha Peace (DTP) label. She released her first solo album on DTP/Def Jam, titled "Worth the Weight" on September 28.

N.O.R.E, is the newest member on the Def Jam roster and is armed with a smash summer single, "Never Leave You". A native of Queens, New York, N.O.R.E has been declared the unofficial defender of New York hip-hop. He is poised to take the New York underground hip-hop world by storm as he releases his new album, "Grimey ... God's Favorite" this winter.

Cam'ron, a Harlem native and rising star in the hip-hop world, developed his toughness and competitiveness playing basketball on the streets of New York. His upbringing served him well as he secured a record deal with Untertainment and he released his first album "Confessions of Fire," which went gold. His sophomore release, "Sports, Drugs and Entertainment" was also certified gold and produced another smash hit with "What Means the World to You." On his eagerly awaited third album, "Come Home with Me" Cam'ron dives deep into life in Harlem.

Joe Budden, a native of Spanish Harlem, has been a fixture on the highly competitive mix tape circuit, appearing on compilations of nearly every major DJ including street slingers DJ Clue, Kay-Slay, Cutmaster Cee and Green Lantern. Budden describes his first single, "Drop Drop" as a combination of West Coast bounce and east coast lyrical sharpness. Another hot record is "Get Right Wit Me" which fans might have first heard on mixtapes.
