Biography
MIG is a trip hop group from Grenoble which was born in the 2000s. The musical architecture is organized around the singer Djazia Satour whose voice is highlighted by the acoustic and electronic sounds of Mathieu Goust and Piero Martin, the two other members of the group
MIG was born in 1999 under the impetus of Gaël Chatelain and Julien Blanchet who wanted to lead the project of an EP mixing musical influences rather trip hop with rap. For this they agree the rapper Shaolin of the group Le Monaster and Betoka, a young rapper who has just landed from Cameroon to study in France. Julien, Gaël and his brother Thierry then take care of the production.
All together they give birth to the first EP of the group entitled MIG at the start of the 1999 school year. On this EP, we also find the time of a piece called Leaving Beth the voice of Djazia Satour, half-sister of the leader of the group Gnawa Diffusion.
