Biography
Icaro & Gilmar is a duo from Periquito, a municipality in the interior of Minas Gerais. They are childhood friends, they studied Civil Engineering together at the university, but soon realized that their talents were different.
The friends started the musical partnership from a Pop Rock band with other members, but it still wasn't what satisfied them. The band disbanded, but Ícaro and Gilmar did not stop dreaming, which is why they returned to live from music in the sertanejo branch. The duo's first performance was at a friend's house and that was the moment they decided to pursue a musical career.
