Biography
Poncho is a band Argentina of electronic music . It consists of the DJ and producer Javier Zuker, Leandro Lopatin (ex guitarist Turf ) and Fabian Picciano.
Its name refers to the traditional clothing used in South America . The band found it a very indigenous and folkloric name and has no translation. This set of three musicians exchanged the roles of producer, songwriter, performer and programmer of several instruments. Their debut album "Ponchototal" released in 2009 was produced by its three members, and was intended to, be presented in visual form clubs, by Punga study. Their leader Javier Zuker, is one of the DJs with extensive experience in the local level. In the beginning he worked as bassist, later began to dabble in production. He also led a musical project founded in 2003, called Zuker XP, which also included Fabian Picciano, which were characterized by performing mash up live the style of the Belgian duo Soulwax . He also collaborated in the recording sessions for the last album Gustavo Cerati, "Fuerza Natural."
